Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arriving in Delhi, our representative will greet you warmly and transfer you to your hotel. As you settle into your accommodation, take the rest of the day to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings. Whether you choose to explore the nearby area or simply unwind, this first day sets the stage for an enriching journey ahead. Enjoy a restful overnight stay at your hotel, preparing for the exciting exploration of Delhi tomorrow.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a comprehensive tour of Delhi. The city, rich in history and culture, is divided into Old Delhi and New Delhi, each offering distinct experiences.

Old Delhi: Begin with a visit to the Red Fort, a stunning example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, explore Raj Ghat, the solemn memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Continue to Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in India, known for its grand scale and intricate design.

New Delhi: After exploring Old Delhi, head to New Delhi, where you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb, an exquisite example of Mughal garden tomb architecture. Proceed to the Qutub Minar, a towering minaret that is part of a complex of ancient structures. Stroll along Rajpath, the ceremonial boulevard of New Delhi, where you’ll find significant landmarks such as the India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to soldiers who died in World War I.

Note: The Red Fort is closed on Mondays, so plan your visit accordingly.

Return to your hotel in the evening to relax and prepare for the journey to Mathura and Vrindavan the following day.

Day 03: Delhi – Mathura – Vrindavan (157 km / 2-3 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Mathura, the revered birthplace of Lord Krishna. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to refresh. Begin your exploration of Mathura with visits to several key attractions:

  • Lord Krishna Birthplace Temple: This significant site marks the spot where Lord Krishna is believed to have been born. The temple is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and spiritual significance.
  • ISKCON Temple: Also known as the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Temple, it is a major center for Vaishnavism and a peaceful place for devotion and worship.
  • Radha Kund: A sacred bathing ghat associated with Lord Krishna, Radha Kund is a place of deep religious importance and tranquility.
  • Marble Temple: This temple is known for its stunning marble architecture, offering a serene environment for reflection and prayer.
  • Dwarkadish Temple and Gita Mandir: These temples are notable for their historical and religious significance, providing insights into the region’s spiritual heritage.

In the afternoon, travel to Vrindavan, just 10 km from Mathura. In Vrindavan, explore:

  • Krishna Temple: Famous for its beautiful architecture and spiritual ambiance, this temple is a major attraction in Vrindavan.
  • Glass Temple: Known for its unique glasswork, the Glass Temple offers a fascinating visual experience.

Return to Mathura for an overnight stay, absorbing the spiritual essence of the region.

Day 04: Mathura – Agra (60 km / 2 hours)

After breakfast, depart Mathura and head to Agra. Check in at your hotel upon arrival and take some time to relax. Begin your exploration of Agra with visits to the following iconic sites:

  • Taj Mahal: This world-famous mausoleum, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and intricate marble work. It’s a must-see UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Agra Fort: A massive red sandstone fort, Agra Fort is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features impressive Mughal architecture and offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal.
  • Itmad-ud-Daula: Also known as the Baby Taj, this tomb is famous for its delicate marble inlay work and is a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so plan your visit accordingly.

Return to your hotel in Agra for an overnight stay, reflecting on the marvels you’ve seen.

Day 05: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (241 km / 4-5 hours)

After breakfast, begin your journey to Jaipur, making a significant stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved Mughal architecture. In Fatehpur Sikri, explore:

  • Buland Darwaza: The grand entrance gate to the city, notable for its impressive size and detailed carvings.
  • Panch Mahal and Jama Masjid: Other significant structures within Fatehpur Sikri that showcase Mughal architectural excellence.

Continue your journey to Jaipur, arriving in the evening. Check in at your hotel and unwind after the day’s travels.

Day 06: Jaipur City Sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out to explore the highlights of Jaipur. Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is renowned for its historical and architectural marvels:

  • Amber Fort: A majestic fort offering panoramic views of the city, Amber Fort is a splendid example of Rajput architecture and fortification.
  • Jal Mahal: This picturesque palace, set in the middle of a lake, offers a stunning view and an excellent photo opportunity.

On the final day of your tour, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before preparing for your departure. You will be transferred to Delhi airport for your onward journey, concluding your enriching 7-day exploration of India’s Golden Triangle and sacred pilgrimage sites.
